Part of the fun and excitement of the greyhound racing is placing a bet.This is not difficult and our Tote staff will be more than happy to answer any questions that you have.

If you win, the dividends are displayed on the screens throughout the stadium to a £1 stake and you can collect your winnings from any
Tote booth.

The range of bets available to you are as follows:-

Win Only

Simply select the dog you think will win.
There are usually six dogs in a race - minimum stake £1.00

Place

Select a Greyhound that you think will finish first or second.
Minimum stake £1.00

Forecast

Select two dogs you think will finish 1st and 2nd. If you want your selection to finish in either order remember to ask for a ‘reversed’ forecast. This costs double your stake -
minimum stake 50p (£1.50 ‘reversed‘ forecast).

Trio

Try and predict the first three dogs home! Again, you can select either three dogs in the correct order, this would be 1 bet. If you select three dogs and you want them to finish in any order, ask for it ‘all ways’ which would be six bets. Minimum stake 25p (£3.00 for ‘all ways’)

Jackpot

Your chance to win a big amount for a small investment. Select the winner of six races (usually from Race 5 to Race 10). Check on the night to see what the pot stands at. Earlier this year the jackpot reached over £12000!!!
Exchange your ticket after each race - 50p units.

Track Side Stadium Bookmakers

You will also notice our stadium bookmakers betting at the trackside. These are independant firms that offer ‘FIXED ODDS’ so that you can get the board price of the dog you select at the time you
place your bet.
